Solio Lodge is nestled in the valley between the dramatic slopes of Mount Kenya and the Aberdare Mountains. Promising to be Kenya’s most luxurious new lodge opening in 2010, Solio is part of a private ranch with exceptional game viewing in privacy. The ranch is recognised as the most successful private rhinoceros breeding reserve in Kenya, and is home to over 74 Black Rhinoceros and 155 White Rhinoceros. The ranch is also home to a diverse and numerous population of wildlife with Solio having some of the best leopard viewing in the country. The camp itself consists of 6 luxurious and cosy en-suite rooms, each with panoramic views of the landscape, framed by Mount Kenya. Each room has a private lounge area warmed by a corner fire and a deck for relaxing during the day.
