Sala`s Camp
Masai Mara Game Reserve, Kenya
Sala’s Camp is located in the southern sector of the Masai Mara Game Reserve, on the confluence of the Sand and Keekorok Rivers, just a few kilometers north of the Tanzanian border. The Camp itself is a seasonal tented camp, open for seven months of the year. It boasts a unique position overlooking the Sand river towards Tanzania, and the ‘Northern Corridor’ where nearly 2 million wildebeest migrate annually from Tanzania into Kenya. Witness this famed annual migration from the camp or on daily drives with an expert guide. Each of Sala’s 7 tents have hot showers and flushing toilets as well as a huge driftwood bed with luxurious mattresses and linens. Whilst comfort remains the primary concern, Sala’s Camp retains the traditional simplicity of the pioneering days.
