Designed according to strong Moroccan principles, Sasaab is indisputably Kenya’s most stylish safari lodge. Overlooking the Ewaso Nyiro river in the heart of Samburu land, it comprises 7 individually detached villas, plus a family unit consisting of two adjoined rooms. Each villa has huge thatched roofs and canvas sides, providing sensational views down the river and beyond. They offer exceptional privacy, include a plunge pool and a relaxation area (either a veranda or small garden), with large open-air bathrooms. The lodge is in the midst of a community conservancy, rich in raw Samburu culture and traditions. Meals are offered in various areas around the lodge, and private dining on guests’ verandas or by the pool are available on request. The finest Kenyan produce is combined with the Moroccan theme that runs throughout, creating a thrilling fusion of flavours.
